17th Canadian Collaborative Mental Health Care Conference

Movies For Mental Health – A Powerful Platform For Engaging College Students On The Topic Of Mental Health

Movies for Mental Health, through two-hour interactive workshops, leverages Art With Impact’s world-class library of short films to engage college students on the topic of mental health. Our goals are: reducing stigma, fostering dialogue, and encouraging early intervention. Run in Canada by Art With Impact and Healthy Minds Canada, Movies for Mental Health has conducted over 60 workshops in California, U.S. and Ontario, Canada since 2012. Our presentation will include a short film and take the audience through an example of what the students would experience at one of our events
