College of Marin presents: Wellness in Words (LGBTQIA+)

Wellness In Words (LGBTQIA+ Focus) is a workshop that uses the power of poetry and film to unite folks in community, connection, and conversation around mental health topics related to the LGBTQIA+ community.

This interactive experience will feature a discussion on mental health and the stigma that frequently surrounds mental illness.

Following this will be a live screening of two award-winning short films, poetry writing exercises to help us express our thoughts, and a collective exploration around what the work means for us as individuals.

The event will culminate in a presentation of mental health resources, empowering us to share our own stories and access support available to us.
