Dawn

This film encompasses the subconscious thoughts that are experienced during the healing process of depression and grief. Each person featured in the film has experienced an actual form of depression and loss in their life. People experiencing this pain and hurt often have a hard time sleeping which is displayed in a literal sense throughout this film, but there emotional block can sometimes feel like the darkness before the sunrise. Simply put, we all reach a certain threshold in ourlives where we no longer accept constant sadness and anger. We want to be better, so we choose to start over with ourselves and be better. Showing that healing isn't always a positive or easy process, it's give and take, but choosing to move forward is how we can overcome this challenge.
