REDEMPTION

My short film "REDEMPTION" tells a story of depression and the various mental disorders it stems from through much symbolism. I grew up with ADHD which later caused me to become rebellious towards the end of high school and sink into a severe depression. I also had surgery in 2003 on a place of my body i can't see, my neck, and everyone else is able to see it. I took that and used it for the story in my film. While I am very proud of the story that is put on display for a short film, it is really all about the two poems performed that I wrote, "Dizzy Spells" and "Out Loud". The first performance covers the exterior of the situation and the second performance covers the interior and together the film is merging the two.
