Josh Thompson-Persaud is a fourth year student at Western University taking an Honours Specialization in Creative Writing and English Language and Literature alongside the School for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities (SASAH). For the last six years, they have been dedicated to producing positive change in the world through social justice work and mental health advocacy. They believe that art is the key to this change as it elevates the voices of those whose stories are not often told. When they are not studying or advocating, you can find them writing for various publications, enjoying the outdoors, hanging in bed and watching Netflix, asking questions about the universe, or dancing like nobody’s watching.
