Maya Maria Brown

Maya Maria Brown (she/her) is the creator of Art With Impact’s “Our Bodies, Our Minds” workshop series. Maya is a queer performing artist, activist and therapist. She has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology: Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and works as a Relationship Expert for the app Coupleness. Maya was previously the Program Director at Art With Impact, and created the original Our Bodies, Our Minds workshop. She has written, directed and performed in stage productions throughout North America and Europe. With her work, she aims to amplify often marginalized voices, invite nuanced discussions, and encourage empathy. Maya currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden with her husband and two dogs.
