Movies for Mental Health Facilitator

Patricia Mirth

Patricia (she/her) is a first-gen Filipina storyteller, poet, facilitator, community-shaker, weirdo aunty. She is a settler on the unceded ancestral lands of the Coast Salish people colonially known as Vancouver, BC. With her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Counselling she hopes to combine her experience in the helping field with her love of words and community to enable people with the tools, language and resources to help navigate this nonstop world. She identifies as a life-long learner and commits to decolonising her path through anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lenses. She uses poetry and prose as a method of healing, often writing of her family, loss, joy, and lingering adolescent angst. You’ll likely find her in the chocolate aisle in Walmart or playing games on her switch.
