Pattie Pryma

Everyone has a story to tell. Through her many years of experience Pattie has learned the importance of people sharing their story in creative ways. Her PhD dissertation utilized a photo-voice method to enhance the stories of strength from women who had experienced domestic violence. Pattie currently teaches nursing at Mt Royal University in Alberta, Canada, with a passion for increasing awareness and decreasing stigma around mental health issues. She has a unique understanding of cultural issues having worked in northern Canada, as well as Ethiopia. Pattie is also a student studying to be an Art Therapist at St. Stephen’s college in Edmonton Alberta. Pattie is excited to bring her experience and passion for lifelong learning to the Art with Impact team.
