Trina Epstein

Trina, Psy.D., C.Psych. is a psychologist working with children, adolescents, and their parents in Toronto, Ontario. She obtained her doctoral degree in School Psychology from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She worked for over 15 years in the Tourette Syndrome Neurodevelopmental Clinic at the Toronto Western Hospital, providing services to children with tic disorders and other comorbidities. In this role, she assessed and treated children, offered parenting intervention, consulted with schools, trained psychology students, and conducted research. Now in private practice, Trina provides therapy to children/teens with a wide variety of challenges and helps parents to better manage their children’s difficulties. She enjoys infusing creativity into her work and recently co-authored a children’s book about a unique parenting approach (The Adventures of Stretch More). Trina is interested in mental health promotion that gives all children the necessary tools to remain resilient during stressful times.
