Parallel is a split screen story of Byron and Naomi’s life with a struggle in their morning routine. Both Byron and Naomi’s internal voice reveals the difficulty in simple situations. Each step they take will get them closer to leaving the comfort of their home.

Naomi is a Filmmaker, Art Director & Set Decorator born and raised in Atlanta, GA who uses her background in photographic imaging to inform all her visual projects. From a young age Naomi has been drawn to using the elements of color, space, form, and texture as the main foundation on her work.
"Parallel" is Naomi's first film project. Written and inspired by her own experience with chronic depression, the film features Naomi side-by-side with her friend Byron, who contributed by writing his own experience with depression. The film was made using only one light, one lens, and two bounce boards. A testament to how far passion can go! Naomi is currently working on a single-use plastic project and her forthcoming documentary 'Halfway Here'.
